A CALL has gone out to help with Covid-19 testing at a Thurrock college.

USP Palmers College in Grays, along with all other schools and colleges, will be offering mass testing of staff and students when campuses reopen.

Principal & CEO Dan Pearson says: "The college is now seeking volunteers to support its test centre. The tests themselves will be self-administered, meaning minimal contact will be required between volunteers and those being tested, and full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

"The college has been granted some funding to help with this initiative, enabling it to offer a small financial reward.

"If you are interested in volunteering, please follow this link and complete the form by Monday, 11 January 2021. More information on the roles available will be shared with those who do so."
