Water main burst affects hundreds of local homes in Grays

RESIDENTS in the Stifford Clays and North Grays area have suffered low pressure water issues this afternoon following a burst main.

A statement from Essex and Suffolk Water confirmed the burst and said: "We were made aware of a burst water main at approximately 12:30pm today (Friday, 8 January) on Lodge Lane, Grays.

"Our repairs crew were on site within an hour and are currently working on the repair."
