Confirmed Covid case means year six at Tilbury school must stay away

A CONFIRMED case of coronavirus at Tilbury Pioneer Academy has meant that year six at the school have been told not to attend school until further notice.

Head Dan George has told parents that a year six pupil has been confirmed as having Covid-19.

He says: "We have decided to close the year six bubble as a precaution.

"All other pupils, including siblings are expected to attend school."
