Congestion charge is going up by minimum of 20 per cent

COMMUTERS and visitors to London who drive into the centre will face a substantial ride in the Congestion charge in the new year.
Transport for London is increasing the fee, saying it is 'to continue to help reduce traffic and congestion within central London'.
From 2 January 2026, the daily central London Congestion Charge will increase from £15 to £18 if paid on the day of travel or before. For those paying the charge in the three days after travel, the charge would increase from £17.50 to £21.
