THURROCK'S community policy team got busy yesterday (Sunday) working across the borough on an Operation codenamed 'Ceaser'.

Their aim was to tackle vehicles used for anti-social behaviour and crime.

Sergeant Lee Stannard and PC Caroline Costelloe arrested a male who was wanted on a recall to prison in Grays.

PC Steve Smith arrested a male for possession with intent to supply in Tilbury.

Two prohibition notices were issued on vehicles which did not meet vehicle safety standards.

And a vehicle was tagged using Smartwater sprays in Chadwell St Mary, meaning the vehicle can be identified at a later date and dealt with for the relevant offences.
