DO you know someone who could care for a child and foster them? If you, or your family, have thought about a vocation helping children, some or all of the time, then fostering could be for you.

Foster Care Fortnight 2022 will take place from Monday, 9 May through to Sunday, 22 May and is the UK's biggest foster care awareness raising campaign, delivered by the Fostering Network. This year's theme is #FosteringCommunities.

Thurrock Council's fostering service is holding a number of virtual and in-person events during this time, giving you the opportunity to find out about fostering for Thurrock, and hear about its competitive fostering allowances and benefits, as well as having questions answered by the Thurrock Fostering team and existing foster carers.
