BUSINESSES in Thurrock are being asked to contribute ideas that will help the borough boom in the coming months.

Thurrock Council has announced it is currently conducting an extensive business survey to shape how it can facilitate support for Thurrock businesses and help future proof the local economy.

The council says local businesses can expect to receive a phone call (via a Thurrock number) from its delivery partner Blueberry Marketing within the next couple of months.

A spokesperson says: "The survey will only take five to 10 minutes to complete and will provide invaluable insight to help us understand what businesses that are owned or based in Thurrock really want and need to help them thrive.

"What types of support would you value? Do you need help with your supply chain or reducing your carbon footprint? Would your business benefit from grant advice or marketing support?

"If you have not been contacted and would like to take part in the survey, contact us by email to arrange a call back.

"Have your say and help us to deliver our 'Backing Thurrock' strategy' to support our businesses and strengthen our economy."

The council's business strategy can be viewed via this link and we have also included the council's promotional video with this article.
