Labour's Jen Craft wins Thurrock, Reform second and outgoing MP Jackie Doyle-Price third. South Basildon and East Thurrock still undeclared with Labour demanding recount after Reform held initial 127 vote lead.

Labour take the Thurrock constituency with a majority of 6439.
THE first count to begin at the Tilbury Cruise Terminal for the borough's two electoral seats was Thurrock.
After verification of the votes pundits believed it to be a straight fight between Labour and Reform,
Initially, the expectation was the South Basildon and East Thurrock constituency might go the same way but when counting commenced it looked as if Conservative candidate Stephen Metcalfe would do better than initially thought.
It may be a couple of hours before the results are declared.
The official voter turnout for Thurrock was 37,675 (51.3%).
Counting commenced on the South Basildon and East Thurrock ward constituency at about 1:45 am. Across the constituency 39,678 people voted (54.6%).
At around 4am it was provisionally declared that Reform had won by 127 votes from Labour. Conservatives were some way behind.
Labour have called for a full recount, which was initially refused and then bundle checking began.
Several mistakes and irregularities were found and as 6am approached no one appeared clear about what would happen.
