Road reopened after crash on Muckingford Road. Power lines down

MUCKINGFORD Road between east tilbury and Chadwell St Mary was closed for a couple of hours following a traffic accident this morning (Thursday, 15 April) that brought down power lines.

Police, fire fighters and the ambulance service attended the scene m, as did teams from UK Power Networks.

One vehicle left the road in the crash which brought down a pole holding power lines, which were made safe.
