Get Started Art was proud to sponsor the Arts & Crafts Tent at this year's Thurrock Scouts Playscheme, helping to give children from across the community a week of exciting activities and new experiences.

Once again, the Scouts delivered an outstanding programme, providing young people with the chance to make friends, try different challenges, and enjoy the summer holidays in a safe and welcoming environment. Their commitment to the Playscheme is a shining example of how volunteering can make a real difference in the lives of local families.

The Arts & Crafts Tent was a constant hub of activity. Children threw themselves into this year's Pirates theme, painting ships, creating masks, and designing their own characters — all while enjoying a break from iPads and computers, and discovering the joy of hands-on creativity.
