A CALL has gone out to local singers or dancers asking if they would like to get involved in a carnival happening in Corringham early next month.

The community event will be held on Saturday, 7 August when organiser, Morrisons store community champion Samantha Ralph has arranged a range of activities outside the town store and in the town square.

Samantha says: "The Carnival is coming along nicely with pretty much all the stall holders now in place.

"But I'm just wondering if there are any local singers or dancers that would like to come along and do a little something at the event?

"It's for Young Lives vs Cancer, so we are trying to keep costs down and our focus is raising money for this charity. Please pm me. Thanks in advance.
