DESPITE the best efforts of emergency response teams, it has been confirmed that a man who suffered a medical emergency at the London Gateway Logistics Park near Corringham earlier this week died.

Emergency services were called to premises on Baltic Avenue at 11.30am on Thursday, 10 September.

A spokesperson for the east of England ambulance Service said: "We dispatched an ambulance, community first responder, ambulance officer vehicle and a response car from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, an adult man was pronounced dead at the scene."

Essex Police have confirmed the family of the man have now been informed.
