Death of woman in Horndon crash is confirmed

FOLLOWING a collision involving three vehicles last night (Friday, 17 December) on the B1007, near Horndon on the Hill police have confirmed a 46-year-old woman has died.

The collision occurred at approximately 9.30pm and the road was closed for a length if time but has now re-opened. No other serious injuries were reported.

A police statement says: "We are also continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident or anyone with dashcam footage of it to come forward.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information should submit a report online where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.

"You can also call us on 101 and cite incident 1290 of December 17."
