Delivery driver who was dumping boxes is axed by Amazon

THE delivery driver caught attempting to dump empty Amazon delivery boxes, possibly after emptying them of their contents, has been axed by the giant delivery company.
However, it is known known yet if the man will face further action from either the police or Thurrock Council.
Corringham resident Richard Imber captured the man on camera and challenged his about what he was doing. The driver put the boxes back in his van and drove off but the information obtained by Mr Imber was enough for the man to be identified.
In a short statement to Thurrock Nub News this afternoon (Monday, 21 December) an Amazon spokesperson said: "We have very high standards for our delivery service providers and how they serve customers. The delivery associate will no longer be delivering on behalf of Amazon."
