A REVISED plan has been put forward to develop a site close to Stanford-le-Hope town centre with new homes – and on another nearby plot, developers who got permission for two flats on the site of old garages have doubled up their aspirations and have gone back to Thurreock Council with plans to add two more dwellings to the site.

In March Thurrock Nub News reported on the submission of a planning application to build six one bedroom flats and two two bedroom flats with associated parking and amenity space on land that is currently derelict on Central Road in the town centre.

That application was withdrawn but the potential developers, Delta Properties have come back with a new proposal. They are now asking for permission to build four one bedroom and 4 four bedroom flats on the site.

Full details of the application and the opportunity to comment can be found via the link below.

In July we reported on the application to demolish garages and build two flats in Stanford-le-Hope to the rear of Fairview Avenue known as Whitwell Court.

The application was given the green light by planning officers but now the site owners want to double up and, having established the principle of developing the site, have submitted a plan for four homes on the same site.

Full details of the latest application and the opportunity to comment can be found via the link below.
