A YOUNG person in Thurrock is set for a real surprise and a memorable treat following the launch of a new initiative by the community champions at the Grays Morrisons store.

The store's Community champion Tarnya Bennett has launched an online search to find a 'Little Ray of Sunshine' who has done something extraordinary to help others.

Tarnya says: "I am looking to find a "Little Sunshine" for an exciting campaign we have coming very soon. Do you know a little human who has been extraordinary during these difficult times?

"Someone putting others first, being selfless, caring helpful and just a little ray of sunshine?

"If you would like to nominate a deserving young person aged under 16 on our Facebook page I will select one to receive a special gift from us on behalf of our community. I look forward to seeing all your nominations, you have one week so don't delay."
