TWO crews of firefighters responded to an early-morning blaze in Corringham today (Friday, 24 July).

They tackled a fire which spread from a fence and garden to a house on Branksome Avenue, after an alarm was raised at 5:40am.

The flames were extinguished very quickly and the cause of the fire was recorded as accidental.
