PLANS have been submitted to Thurrock Council for eight new homes in the heart of Stanford-le-Hope.

The plan submitted by Delta Properties Ltd is for the creation of six one bedroom flats and two two bedroom flats with associated parking and amenity space on land that is currently derelict on Central Road in the town centre.

In the submission the site agent says the properties will come with eight parking spaces, something that may prompt concern among existing residents given the current parking issues in the town centre.

Details of the scheme can be found at Thurrock Council's planning portal via the red additional information button below.
