Location of Essex virus victim now known - but mystery remains about source of infection

By Neil Speight 2nd Mar 2020

THE Essex resident who has contracted the has today been confirmed as coming from Harlow.

A generic health service release yesterday (Sunday, 1 March), raised concern across the whole county - including Thurrock - because of the lack of detail, but today media sources have confirmed that the person involved is from Harlow.

However, there remains much that is still unknown about the victim who caught the disease despite having no link to an affected area abroad.

Officials admitted they were clueless as to where the patient contracted the virus amid mounting fears the infection is spreading rampantly throughout the UK.

As reported on Thurrock Nub News yesterday (see red button below), Thurrock has not escaped those fears, with schools reporting a number of parents have been in contact saying they are worried about their children's safety and some asking if they will be able to keep their children away from school.
