Emergency gas work prompts road closure

THURROCK Council has closed part of Victoria Road in Stanford-le-Hope to allow gas company Cadent to complete emergency repairs.

The closure order comes into effect today (Wednesday, 29 October) and is in force for up to 12 days, though it is expected the repairs will be completed by Friday.
