PLANNING officers have stepped in and refused a retrospective planning application for a home extension already built at a home in Chadwell St Mary.

They have acted following a complaint about the four metre extension at the home at 77 Cole Avenue.

Officers have vetoed the application, meaning the extension will have to be pulled down.

They say, while the site benefits from a high fence the constructed extension can be seen above this fence and is highly visible from the public realm.

The full ruling can be found here.
