Floral tribute to caring mum and grandma

A THURROCK grandmother was rewarded for her love and care for her family with a bouquet of flowers.

Thurrock Nub News reported on Grays' Morrisons store community champion Tarnya Bennett's Facebook call for nominations for deserving causes to be presented with a bouquet.

She received a big response and picked a winner at random - and it proved to be a real cracker with Louise Paterson-Rees successfully nominating her mum, who has been a family rock, looking after Louise's two other girls while she accompanied a third daughter to Great Ormond Street Hospital for an operation.

"The winner was not only surprised, but very happy," said Tarnya who is planning to run a similar promotion next week!
