From ship to shore: Tilbury plays its part in keeping essential supplies moving

THE Port of Tilbury has released a video showing how quickly is is able to get goods into the UK from overseas and on the road to destinations across the UK by road inside 90 minutes.

The port says the delivery of fast-moving essential supplies in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic is essential.

The video shows how port staff get the vital fast moving consumer goods and supplies from ship to shore in 25 minutes and then onto the road within an hour.
