Fun day will remember Stewart and raise money for great causes

THE time of year again when the Belhus community comes together to remember Stewart Farr with an annual Charity Fun Day is fast approaching.

Stewart was a young man and popular member of the club who died in tragic circumstances in 2018.

His life has been remembered since with an annual charity event and this year it will support Pancreatic Cancer UK, Thurrock and Brentwood Mind and Help for Heroes

Sunday's event (24 August) on the Village Green will start at 9.30am and will include a host of events including cricket matches, a barbecue, raffles, an auction and stall and the bar will be open all day.

Organisers say: "Bring your family, friends, and community spirit – Belhus welcomes everyone. Let's make memories."
