Fun in the sun at Tilbury

FAMILIES in Tilbury enjoyed a day in the sunshine on the Anchorfield today (Wednesday, 10 August) when the Tilbury Riverside Project's 'Picnic in the Park' took place.
There was a range of entertainment on show including locally-based singers and dnacers including the Elite Dance Academy. Youngsters took part in events including a fancy dress competition.
The day was support by the Port of Tilbury and EMR, who provided the stage - where local stalwart Les Morgan was a popular compere - and other facilities.
