Fundraiser and fun day is a big success

A FAMILY fun day and fundraiser for Thurrock Gymnastics Academy took place today (Sunday, 25 May) at Tyrells Hall Club in Little Thurrock.
The event marked the move of the club to new premises on the nearby Globe Estate and some members of the coaching team took part in a sponsored run from the former HQ at Ormiston Park Academy, Aveley, to the new venue.
The club has more that 600 young people regularly training across many age groups.
The run and fun event will raise money for new equipment.
Coaches Lisa and Kendal spoke to Nub News about the club.
