A GROUP of performers will be treading the boards at Grays' Thameside Theatre this week and the local community is being invited to pop along and enjoy the show.

'Funky Feet' is a class held every week for adults with disabilities and educational difficulties and they will be showcasing their skills on Friday, 11 March, at the Thameside.

The group has been running for 14 years and delivers drama, dance, singing, acting and real life performances every week in the theatre on Orsett Road.

Friday's event will take place at 11am, with doors opening at 10.30am.

Admission is free and you can book via this link. Donations on entry would be appreciated.

CEO of the group, Vickki Jarmyn, says: "If you can come along and watch please do. We invite people to watch all our performers' hard work pay off."
