Government officers will be on hand at Tilbury Forum where local governance reorganisation will be key topic

REPRESENTATIVES from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) will be attending a meeting in Tilbury on Monday evening to make a presentation about the future of the region.
With a huge shake up of local governance and plans for a country-wide mayor and the merging of Thurrock Council into a bigger authority, significant change is expected in how local services operate.
Tilbury Community Forum has arranged Monday's event as part of the Greater Essex Devolution Consultation so residents can ask questions about what may be happening.
The meeting will take place at Tilbury Community Centre (Tilbury Hib) on Civic Square, starting at 7pm. You can request a Zoom link or submit a question by emailing [email protected].
The forum runs a private Facebook Page and you can apply to join via this link.
