Man taken to safety after bridge incident

POLICE closed the QEII bridge while they dealt with an incident yesterday (Saturday, 29 March), resulting in considerable congestion on the M25 and other adjacent road.
Officers responded to concerns for the welfare of a man on the bridge and worked alongside ambulance service colleagues at the scene.
The man was taken to safety and left in the care of medical professionals.
