Grant keeps the music going in Thurrock - with spin-off for local community charities

A THURROCK-based music group that runs an online radio service from the heart of the borough has been awarded a rescue grant to keep music alive!
Quest Music Services, based at the Thameside Complex in Grays, has been awarded emergency funding from Arts Council England.
Dorion Quest, the man behind both Quest Music and Delta Radio has expressed his gratitude, saying: "This will keep arts and culture alive in Thurrock for the next six to 12 months so expect a massive amount of live music, DJs, MCs, visual art and online music learning from local creatives and some of the biggest names from the music industry.
"We will also be raising money and awareness for Thurrock Based charities and organisations that support the creative sector in Thurrock. It's all very exciting...."
And this weekend Delta Radio will be broadcasting the first of its June 2020 events, featuring a host of internationally recognised artists, all with top 10 UK hits under their belts.
Dorion added: "This is going to be massive and enjoyed by thousands of people online, it's free and live across Thames Delta Radio social media channels including Youtube. people can navigate to the sites using our launchpad here.
