Gurhka community celebrate

MEMBERS of Thurrock's Nepalese and Gurkha community enjoyed a family day the Purfleet Heritage Centre today (Sunday, 6 August).

The event, which featured performances illustrating different aspects of Nepalese and Gurkha culture was formally opened with a message from borough mayor Cllr Sue Little.

And it is now going to become an annual event.
