AN application has been submitted to Thurrock Council to demolish garages and build two flats in Stanford-le-Hope.

Originally the proposal on land to the rear of Fairview Avenue was to build four homes, but that has been reduced.

The new two storey building has been designed to match the aesthetic and layout of the immediately adjacent residential block known as Whitwell Court.
