Police issue picture and seek information after store raid by man with knife

POLICE have issued an e-fit image of a man and appealed for information about a raid on a Thurrock store.

A man went into the Co-op in Lodge Lane, Socketts Heath, Grays, shortly after 7.20pm on Saturday, 27 June and threatened members of staff with a knife.

He stole a two-figure sum of cash before leaving the store.

If you have any information about the incident or if you recognise the man pictured your are asked to call police on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/94062/20 or Crimesdtoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
