Initiative helps safeguard vulnerable adults in Thurrock

THURROCK'S Safeguarding Adults Board which is spearheaded by Thurrock Council has launched a new information booklet.

The 'Let's talk about...' initiative tackles the difficult topic of abuse and neglect and can help if you have concerns about someone you care for possibly experiencing this.

Copies can be ordered by email from [email protected] or it can be accessed online via this link.

The board says: "To contact us If you want to talk about anything in the booklet or have concerns about a relative, friend, or someone in your community call 01375 511000.

"If you know an adult is in immediate danger dial 999 and ask for the Police.
