It's deadline submissions day for Lower Thames Crossing hearing

TODAY (Tuesday, 18 July) is an important one in the ongoing hearing into the Lower Thames Crossin Development Consent Order planning application.
The hearing has been underway for a couple of weeks setting out its paramaters and reuirments for submission of evidence. Preparatory papers have already been heard but the hearing will go on for some months yet.
Today brings sees two important deadlines in the course of the hearing (details can be found here)
Procedural Deadline D is for those wishing to:
Request at a future Open Floor Hearing (individuals get 5 mins to voice issues and concerns direct to the Examiners)
Request to speak at a Compulsory Acquisition Hearing (if your land/property is directly impacted by the proposed LTC)
Request to attend the Accompanied Site Inspection

Deadline 1 is for those wishing to:
Submit a Written Representation (let the Examiners know your issues and concerns about LTC) – 1500 words or less, otherwise you need to include a Summary of no more than 10% of the total words
Submit written comments on any of the hearings between 20th July and 6th July
Submit written comments on any Relevant Representations and/or Additional Submissions since the application was submitted

Last night's meeting of Thurrock Council's Lower Thames Crossing Task Force was updated on the opening days of the hearing (yoiu can watch the meeting here) and what has happened so far and iy passed on the message to those who have registered to comment on aspects of the application that the day has now arrived for those submissions to be sent in.
