Karis May Darling Day is another amazing success with more than 4,000 people attending

MORE than 4,500 people attended his year's Karis May Darling Foundation day at Gable Hall Scvhool yesterday (Saturday, 9 July).

The event is held annually and featured performers on a specially erected stage, many fairground rides and stalls and lots more.

During the day awards totalling £2,000 were awarded to four young people from the area who will be suppoorted in their activities and career goals by the foundation.

Organiser John Darling said: "Thank you to everyone who came along to support our foundation on Saturday, it was an amazing day and all organised by karis special friends. We handed out 4 awards to deserving children and over £2,000 for them.

"A magic day looking forward to next year already!"
