IT wasn't a case of third time lucky for applicants who want to build a new home in South Ockendon.

Thurrock Council planning officers have again rejected a bid for a new home on garden land to the rear of 99 Orchard Road.

The council's main reason for opposing the plans submitted are that the new home would be out of character with the prevailing form of development in the area and detrimental to the a ppearance and character of the area. It is considered to be an overdevelopment of the site.

There are also concerns about the applicants' inability to demonstrate adequate off street parking, access and refuse collection for the proposed dwelling.

Full details for refusal are outlined in this repoprt
