Labour maintain their Riverside stronghold with another win for Martin Kerin
Obi Obi-Njoku and Martin Kerin await the result.
LABOUR'S traditional support stayed strong in the Grays Riverside ward where Cllr Martin Kerin was returned for another term on the back of a significant majority.
It will be his third stint in the chamber, having first been elected in 2014.
Result:
- Martin Kerin (Labour) 1,208
- Obi Obi-Njoku, (Conservative) 472
Majority 736.
Electorate: 8,075. Ballot Papers Issued: 1,703. Turnout: 21.09%.
