Another term for Barry as Tories dominate in Orsett again

THERE was the customary huge Conservative victory in the Orsett ward where longstanding Tory Barry Johnson assured himself of another term of office, leaving Labour's Gary Watson in his wake by more than 600 votes.

Result

  • Barry Johnson (Conservative) 1,095
  • Gary Watson (Labour) 410

Majority 685.

Electorate: 5,042. Ballot Papers Issued: 1,532. Turnout: 30.38%
