GRAYS town centre will be lit up this evening (Tuesday, 16 December) with a light parade.

The Arts Outlook Festive Light Walk will commence after participants come together at 5pm at the Thameside Complex on Orsett Road.

Arts Outburst has spent almost 20 years co-creating art and cultural projects in Thurrock and described the light festival walk as an exploration of the beautiful light displays across Grays. And adds: "This gentle, family-friendly walk is a joyful way to connect, reflect, and share in the warmth of the season.

"We will meet at Arts Outburst Studios on the second floor at the Thameside from 5pm for hot chocolate and mince pies, then at 5.30pm we'll set off together with our lanterns.

"So gather your friends, your family, and your festive spirit — and help us Light Up Thurrock @ Christmas."
