Late night blaze destroys vehicle outside home

FIREFIGHTERS couldn't save a car which caught fire outside a home in South Ockendon last night (Wednesday, 3 June).

Crews were sent to Broxburn Drive at 11.04pm after reports of a car fire.

On arrival firefighters reported the car was completely alight and extinguished it by 11.30pm.

The cause has been recorded as accidental.
