Tip closed to deal with medical emergency

THURROCK Council's recycling and household waste disposal centre on Buckingham Hill Road, Linford, was temporarily closed this morning (Thursday, 4 July) following a medical emergency on site.

Ambulance personnel attended to help a member of staff who suffered a suspected heart attack soon after the tip opened.

A statement from the council is anticipated
