Late night for Darren and team as they bid to make it a 1st Call big day tomorrow

By Neil Speight 2nd Sep 2021

THE owner and team behind a new Stanford-le-Hope based business are set for a late night tonight (Thursday, 2 September) as they prepare for a gala opening day tomorrow.

Darren Grant has his team have been putting the last minute finishing touches to the shop and offices at 4 Rayleigh Road and also preparing displays that will be outside the shop to welcome first day visitors to 1st Call Hire.

The doors will open at 7am in the morning and all day until closing at 7pm when visitors will be welcomed, entertained and offered free food and drink.

The business will offer a big range of tools and equipment for hire but also sells a wide range of products from household items such as toilet rolls to heavy duty builder's equipment.

You can check out the new store's Facebook page here.

Darren said: "It's been hectic but we are nearly ready. We are looking forward to tomorrow and welcome local people to come down and take a look at us and what we offer - and have a free bite and a drink as well!"
