Let there be light! Bid to chop back huge trees that overhang homes
HUGE trees that overhang houses on a residential estate in Stanford-le-Hope will soon be given a severe cutback if an application is approved by Thurrock Council planners.
The trees, three limes and a sequioa are either side of a terrace properties running off Boyce Road and are subject to tree preservation orders, hence permission is needed to trim them back.
The plan is to reduce them by three metres all round and cut from the bottom so the lowest branches are three metres off the ground.
