Deputy Store Manager 

£33,000 up to £41,000 per annum (pro rata) - This role is offered as a 47.5 hour contract and a 40 hour contract.

This isn't only being hands-on. This is being switched on.

Our Deputy Store Managers keep our stores running like clockwork, working on the shop floor with a driven team of Customer Assistants, Specialists and Shift Managers. We rely on our Deputy Store Managers to ensure the team is working efficiently to complete tasks accurately and on time.

Senior Brake Press Operator

To work as a key member of the fabrication team possessing a positive and keen awareness of working to the highest standards in a diligent manner and within set deadlines. To set the brake press and train and develop junior colleagues. Own brake press area results, targets and KPIs.

  • Undertake duties as directed by the management team.
  • Conduct daily machine checks and care routines
  • Liaise with team members to gain experience and problem solve
  • Be proactive in how you work and take responsibility for situations and results.
  • Undertake other duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business.
  • Act in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Set up and operate power-press machines or power-brake machines to bend, form, stretch, notch, punch and straighten metal plates and structural shapes as specified.
  • To review blueprints, drawing templates and layouts and fabricate appropriate profiles accurately.
  • Take ownership of brake press area. Ensuring targets and KPIs are hit
  • Problem solve machine issues by contacting machine manufacture and talking through issue. Communicate upstream issues and solutions
  • Ensure Quality control is maintained within Brake press area and issues are problem solved to improve standards
