FRIENDS and work colleagues of a Corringham man who had dropped off the local radar have been relieved to hear he is safe.

Matt Frow is a highly popular figure in the Corringham community, working at the town's Morrisons store and frequently getting involved in local community fundrasing.

Over the weekend Matt failed to show up for work and there was considerable local concern about his well-being, with police also being involved in trying to track him down.

However today (Monday, 13 April) Matt has made contact, saying he is being cared for in a Kent hospital, after suffering a seizure but he is recovering and expects to return home soon.
