A BOROUGH woman has made her literary mark.

Rachael Hearn, 30, from South Ockendon entered a poem she wrote into a poem competition with Publio Publishing in 2025 and she has won first place in the competition.

Her poem, How do you feel today?, has been published in a poems anthology book and the book has been named after her poem.
