Loraine's work and support for older folk is recognised

THE work of a local volunteer co-oirdinator has been recognised with an award.

Loraine Coleman is the driving force behind Thurrock Re-engage, the charity that supports lonely and vulnerable people and she has received a Marsh Charities Trust award for Volunteering in Support of Older People.

A spokeperson for Re-engage said: "We are thrilled that Loraine's exceptional dedication and hard work over the last eight years has been recognised. This award is so well deserved.

"Loraine accepted the award on behalf of all the amazing, caring and kindhearted volunteers of the eight Re-engage tea party groups in Thurrock. We are all so proud of her."
