STANFORD-le-Hope Primary School has been celebrating the success of one of its learning support assistants.

Stanford recently took part in the 'Unison's Stars In Our Schools' annual celebration which recognises the hard work from the support staff across schools.

For the second year running, one of the staff at Stanford-le-Hope Primary won the overall Thurrock Unison's star.

Deputy Mayor Councillor Qaisar Abbas attended a special assembly at the school along with representatives from Unison to announce the winner.

Miss Louise Flemwell (Learning Support Assistant) was the deserving winner and had many nominations from staff and parents.
