M25 crash causes bridge and A13 delays

DRIVERS have been alerted to potential delays on the clockwise M25 south of the Dartford Crossing.

Three vehicles were involved in a crash around 6.30am , causing traffic to back up as far as the QEII bridge, junction 30 and beyond. Surrounding roads, including the A13 are congested.

The incident occurred between junction 2 A2 (Darenth Interchange) to junction 3 M20 / A20 (Swanley Interchange).

All traffic was temporarily held at about 6:40am, but this was released at 7am, though it is taking time to clear the backlog.
